Scholarship Guide
PURPOSE

HTUS aims to give a substantial number of scholarships to students who have focused all their energy on their studies and who have demonstrated special ability in their area of study.

Facused Areas of Study
  • Scholarships for Freshmen
    HTUS will award a full, four-year scholarship to the top student entering each department. This decision is based on the student¡¯s college entrance examination score. It will be renewed for each of the student¡¯s four years of study, provided the student maintains a grade point average higher than 3.0. The scholarship will not cover the student¡¯s registration fees.
  • Academic Achievement Scholarships
    Each semester, HTUS will award scholarships to returning students who maintain grade point averages higher than 3.5.
  • Work Assistance Scholarships
    HTUS will provide work assistance scholarships to students according to the conditions of their financial need. Students receiving these scholarships will work part-time for the University Administration Office. To be eligible for these scholarships, students must maintain grade point averages higher than 2.0.
  • Contributor Scholarships
    HTUS will award these scholarships to students based on the excellence of their contribution to the development and honor of HTUS. To be elibible for these scholarships, students must maintain grade point averages higher than 2.0.
  • Service Scholarships
    HTUS will award these scholarships to students who are role models in various areas of service outside the university, such as service to church, service to community, and service to society.
